4K Monitors no Gsync

There seems to be more 4K Freesync than Gsync monitors available, unless ultra wide.

Is this a licensing issue or is Gsync harder to implement than Freesync?

Bit of both as gsync is licensed from Nvidia and also requires additional hardware in the monitor.
Freesync doesn't have any additional license fees and can be implemented with relatively little additional effort by manufacturers.
