As the video posted by deuse above illustrates, the Panny 900 is currently a better player and this ought to apply to the 700 too, assuming the same core internals.
Is there any players that have DV yet, would like to get a 4k player but want DV on it as I have a B6 oled.
None yet, though the x800 from Sony can technically do it but it would need a software upgrade and I don't think there's any eta for that.
There are no DV discs yet, apart from maybe an odd one or two.
DV is trying to stage a comeback but I can't see it happening simply due to the headstart HDR10 has and the licensing fees Dolby want. There are no discs, no players and only LG sets support it. Some TV manufacturers are promising to support it soon with updates but I think they're just hedging their bets tbh. If you want to wait then that's up to you but I think the dust will settle with HDR10 for Bluray discs and HLG for broadcasts.
Just purchased Passengers 4k to watch on my new OLED. Oh my goodness does it look amazing!
I never went to the cinema to watch it, I was just waiting for the 4k blu ray release.
It's visually stunning and the audio is superb i was very happy with the film overall, basically anything to do with space and i'll buy it.
Going off topic for just a second has anyone seen they have the Iron Man Trilogy in 4k on amazon?
Does this mean future Marvel films will be available in 4k blu ray?

All this HDR baloney is just a marketing gimmick to help keep selling TVs. Only reason MS has decided to milk it is because they've recently been trying to milk as much money as possible.
It's all BS. An HDR image can be contained within a completely standard sRGB colour space. I've done it myself lol, and so have millions of people, many years before TV manufacturers decided to turn it into a money making gimmick.
Dynamic range has absolutely nothing to do with the colour space your working in. The dynamic range is dictated by the RAW dynamic range of the imaging sensor, it's to do with signal clipping. lol. If you have a good enough imaging sensor to be able to capture things with less clipping, then it doesn't matter what colour space you're displaying it in.
But obviously TV manufacturers won't profit if studios just release HDR material on a standard RGB model, which is perfectly capable of displaying absolute black as well as absolute white. So they need to make it seem as if it's exclusive to some brand spanking new TV technology.
This HDR business is no different to a TV manufacturer claiming a 100000000000000:1 contrast ratio.
