Hello,

As subject implies, I suffer judder and stutter on 4k content

Hisense 65" 4k Television (E65K5510UWTS)
Denon 4k Amp (AVR-X540BT)
PC (i7 7700, Intel HD 630, SSD for O/S, 2TB HDD and a couple of USB HDDs,32gb RAM)
5k Player, VLC, HPC, MPC, Cyberlink etc

Judder amounts differ from one software player to another.
It's not the amp, as I took that out the "loop" and issue remains.

Is it as simple as the onboard IntelHD630 isn't upto the job and I need a dedicated graphics card?

Regards
Chris

Can you not just use the TV to playback these titles via network or usb?

A GT 1030 will solve your 4k (non HDR) playback issues, It's the quick and easy fix if you want playback via your pc. Due to certification issues, a GT 1030 cannot playback Netflix 4k HDR. Your TV's Netflix app however should.
If you want to stream 4k HDR (or decode 4k HDR media) up the budget a little and pick a GTX 1050 or GTX 1050ti

If the TV has a plex app you could use the system as a plex server and use the tv as a plex client and play it all back through the tv. (this is just an example, there are many ways you can go about this)

These guy's are assuming you game on it and not just using it for 4k media duties.

The TV will play direct via USB if I move the usb HD to the TV, bit why should I? Also, I want the HD audio soundtrack. Wouldn’t I lose that, as it needs HDMI?
