4K Tv's

Looking to replace my Samsung LE40C750 with a new 4k TV

Originally was look at the Samsung UE55JU6500 but then I found out it only has a 60hz refresh rate while this is ok for games not so good for movies or am I wrong?

Only the 7 series seem to start with 120hz upwards but these are too expensive

Then I got looking at the Panasonic VIERA TX-50CX700B which being 3D can offer 800hz refresh rate

Both include a 5 year guarantee but the Samsung is £100 cheaper

The Samsung uses HDCP 2.2 but the Panasonic uses the older HDMI 2.0 standard

I won't be gaming on either, just watching general TV so which should I go for, or any other suggestions for 50" (looking around £700 - £900?

If it's general TV, no streaming or other use then I'd say a 4k set is overkill just now. And by General you mean freeview/digital through a normal aerial? No Sky/BT you View?

Just for Watching Sky Sports HD and general freeview, no movies
