Hello.
I've recently ordered a custom gaming computer. I need to have some potential ideas for monitors going forward, although nothing ridiculously expensive. I'm not hugely into the competitive scene, but I do play games every now and then competitively.
I'm running the r9 3900x in my new custom and a 2070 Super, which I ordered a few days ago.
I'll be selling the 2070 super down the line for a much better graphics card, once there's some good information about all of them and they're a little more refined, maybe a tad cheaper. That will either the GTX 3080, GTX 3090 or the new AMD GPUs shown, with a leaning on AMD because they're generally cheaper, also depending on how much I can sell for the Super.
In terms of 4k, being unexperienced in it, and new to it, is that something that is worth it, especially considering how demanding it is, or is it wiser to move to 1440p with a monitor with a high refresh rate? I'm looking to get a monitor around black friday, myself.
In terms of 1440p monitors, I've sighted these.
