Hi guys

I recently got a Benq 3201 PT...superb monitor etc. However I am finding it difficult to make my Windows 7 space use as efficient as possible.

I understand there are a number of programs that can help arrange new windows in a fashion where they automatically maximise desktop space. Does anyone use one or can anyone recommend what they use?

If for example I open 3 chrome windows, they don't automatically resize to accommodate each other..which is a royal pain!

Any ideas would be useful...thanks!

Win 10 seems much much better in this respect. Maybe wait for the update??

If its a dell monitor they have their own utillity which is great, it may or may not work for other brands.

Seem to remember something about the software that comes with the monitor allowing you to split in too different number of screens - not sure if they would be equal size though. Give it a try perhaps.

The lack of cd driven my comp and bloated software had stopped me from
doing this. I have just installed Display Pilot and it does have a function to split the monitor into various patterns. Seems to work ok but it's not great.
