4k ?

I am considering getting a 4k monitor but I am unsure if my hardware is capable of running it with decent performance.

Assuming I get poor performance can I set lower resolutions of say 1440p for example.

My system spec is in the sig strip.

Thanks everyone. I will just stick with my current monitor for the near future.
