4mb L2 worth it for Video Editing ?

Hi all,
I am really close to spending on a new rig but am on a budget, my primary reason for the upgrade is to increase my rendering times in AVid Xpress Pro.
I noticed the 6600 has 4mb of cache, will I see a noticeable difference with this compared to me getting an E4300 with 2mb and Ocing to 3ghz ?

So Easyrider it would be worth me going for the E4300 ? I am on a AMD 939 3700 oc to 2.5ghz at the moment will I see a substantial increase in AVid rendering times with a 3ghz 4300 ?

What mobo you getting?

I was going for the Asus P5N-E SLI as apparently i can use cheap ram with it and still clock the cpu, but I have just noticed that it doesn't have a raid controller which I could do with really.

ok the DS3 it is, still unsure of CPU though, there doesn't seem to be much between the E4300 and the 6300. I have decided agaisnt the 6600 at least now that the 4mb cache is shown not to be worth it.
