4od conflicting with iPlayer?

Hi,

Here's my setup, fresh XP Pro install, windows media player 10, and then I downloaded 4od. Works real well.

I installed iPlayer today, and the only problem is when iPlayer is running, 4od goes all funny and start giving Kontaki errors...

Is there any way around this? Or do I have to just use 1 at a time?

Hmm haven't actually tried to run both at the same time but since they both use the Kontiki service I wouldn't be surprised if it couldn't handle both at the same time.

Ive got them both up and running on my machine no problems, only thing i can think of is that i installed iplayer first but then ive done it the other way round before and it still worked

Hmm, I've rebooted and now they run along side each other OK, but only 1 app can download.

I'm not going to waste any more time trying to fix it, I'll simply just close 1 when I'm using the other.

That does make sense. Using iPlayer or 4oD is surely going to be very bandwidth intensive so using both will not work?

Yea I guess so.... I'm gonna wait for my 4od downloads to finish, then start up my iplayer ones...
