is there any problems with installing 4oD TV on demand software from channel4 website?

Spyware, etc etc?

nope or at least ive not had any after having it installed for around a yr

Nope. 4oD was fine on my PC. No spyware or anything like that. It is also quite a fair bit more usable and less resource intensive than the BBC iPlayer I think.

Anyone know how you can stop 4oD loading on startup? It doesn't appear the list of startup programs.

It might be the Kontiki program you need to untick.

Both the BBC and Channel 4 players use Kontiki.

I think it tries to run everything it can think of. Running the iPlayer slows my PC so much its ruddy ridiculous. :mad:

What i mean is the "KService", it installs with 4oD

I was saying that the service slows my PC down way too much.
