purchasing a new case tomorrow (coolermaster 330) and im just wondering what both the 120mm case fans are powered by (whether its 4pin or 3pin). getting a bit concerned because my mobo has one 4pin fan slot with a splitter on. can i put another splitter on a split or would it not derive enough power? also my psu (HX520W) has 2 molex "fan only" connectors but i dont know how to power them. any thoughts thanks

Normally the fans will have splitter leads on them, meaning you can run them all off a single 4 pin if you so desire. Fans themselves take so little power i doubt you'll blow any fuses :)

If you are short, you can buy 4 pin splitter cables from ******s for a couple of quid.

That really depends on the fans. I wouldn't just plug them in and hope.

I don't think the information is easy to find, however from memory I think Abit were using 6W as a limit on the fan header - 0.5A at 12V. I have 12cm fans which are 0.4A at 12V, so two would exceed the limit.
