4Pin PWM fans to 3Pin sockets

ok cooling related question, as the title I have four 4 pin fans that I need to be able to connect to four 3 pin sockets on a fan controller.

Just to double check OCUK don't seem to have any 4 pin to 3 pin adapters/extensions, or am I just being a bit blind.

Cut away the wall of the 3 pin socket then you can slot the 4 pin into it.

Unfortunately the four 3 pin sockets are right next to each other on the fan controller, so there physically isn't enough room for the four 4 pin connectors.

You could always buy some Molex 22-01-2035 connectors. Some modding retailers offer these types of connectors in several colours.

You could also grab some 4 pin to 4 pin extenders and butcher the PWM position on the connector so it fits into the fan controller.

I think your right, looks like its going to have to be 3 pin extenders that will need to be modded.
