4tb hard drive showing as 2 partitions and one system reserved?

Hey all

just got my new system up and running and I cant get the 4tb data drive to work right.

I have installed windows on a second 500gb drive which leaves the 4tb for data

if i partition the 2tb unallocated I cant do anything with the other partition, absolutely nothing. I also cant remove the reserved partition. Have tried easeus partition master also.

Any ideas all?

Windows stuck the System Reserved partition on the first drive because you didn't disconnect it during installation.

You should be able to create one huge GPT partition on the 4TB drive if you can get rid of all MBR partitions on the same drive.

Disconnect the 4TB drive and follow this guide.
