To cut a very long story short, I need something a little larger to stuff my homeserver into. I couldn't care less about looks, and assuming I can bodge a few quiet 120mm fans in I'm not much bothered about the noise.
The current PSU and components do just fine, I'm just completely out of drive bays in the shell it's currently in.
To this end, I've been poking at some of the available 4u server cases on the usual auction site, & other similar places. 7 dedicate 3.5mm bays and a couple of convertible 5.5mm bays aren't really enough, but it's a lot better than the curent situation
Basically, I'm wondering if anyones tried to do a build in one of these before using standard components (Full ATX mobo, normal PSU), and whether theres anything else I should be thinking about?
