4WD Development Integra

I think the Braille team built a 4WD drive Integra using the CRV system. Would be pretty sweet with a supercharger to help with the drivetrain loss :)

Mid to late 90s at a guess?

Sounds a fantastic bit of kit. Makes you wonder why some cars never get to production.

I would assume that that car was too late to be included in the 4WD Turbo hatch war of that era.

Probably just too expensive to manufacture compared to what they could sell it at. Guess you can thank Subaru and Mitsubishi for that. :(

hhhm, take a light weight pretty poweful car, and make it a LOT heavier... doesn't that go against the Integra mentality a bit??

fun tho i'm sure:)

Not many its a D series lame engine thing with twin carbs i think, the 4wd for that appear in the Shuttle too.

was implying a bit of a transplant.. be interesting to know the weight difference, considering the teggy type r had near perfect weight distro

4wd would probably make it closer to 50:50, although i ahev to say id prefer a unbalanced light car to a 50:50 tank.

Teg R is pretty far from 50:50 balance tbh though, theres not much too it apart from an engine and seats. :p

hmm....

i'll have to watch my BMI video on it then. im absolutely sure that they mentioned it having perfect weight distro over the 4 wheels when a 70 kilo driver was in the seat... I'll take a look !
