4X Games with a campaign

Dying for a 4X game, so I've reinstalled Sins of a Solar Empire: Trinity, but I'm getting a bit bored with just doing random single player games, I never touch multiplayer in these sort of games.

Does anyone know a decent 4X game with a campaign or story mode?

Yeah, I have Endless Space, not a big fan of the card combat system.

Thanks for all the other suggestions though, I'll keep an eye out.
