I'd guess that if he wants SLI its gonna be a gaming rig. If its folding or some other rendering purpose I'm pretty sure you don't need to SLI the cards to get the most out of them.

ok, so you really want masses of GPUs in a single case?

I like this build. But on a more serious note the 590s give off a lot of heat, and with 6 of them (if you need that much) I suggest having 2 loops, each with 3 590s and a massive radiator such as the Phobya Xtreme NOVA 1080 (3x3 120mm fans).
