Hi. I currently have 1GB of RAM 2x512Geil Value Ram running on 1T. I was thinking of adding 2 more sticks since it's much more cheaper than getting 2x1Gb sticks with good timings.
I cyrrently have a Winchester core and i was wondering what limitations will i have. The thing i know is that in most cases it will run at 2T and the memory frequency will be lowered from 400Mhz to 333Mhz.
Will i see a good performance increase going from 1Gb to 2Gb. I really use lots of apps at the same time like Photoshop, Corel, Flash .etc :P
In addition will this hurt any overclocking potential? In order to OC my CPU a lot i put a devider on 166Mhz(333Mhz DDR) so it means the lower frequency won't bother me at all?
Thanks for the help. Plz respond quickly because i need to order today.

Ok correct 333mhz and T2. This will slow the speed down. However if you arnt willing to go to 2x1GB then the only option is another 2x512, so be it.

Will you notice the extra ram, Yes if what you say is you use big apps then definatly.

Overclocking the Ram, Yes this will be a pain mate. IT wont hit near as high as 2x512. Id go with it as you need it but there are many dips.
