The problem with the NHS is not the kit, and do you really think the NHS spend that figure per machine? Of course they do not.

He clearly meant that it costs a lot more than the 4000' euros that machine cost, and could be faster for less money, dont be so stupid :)

and btw, my penis is fatter than that guys arms lmao.....

I'm not sure how much the computational hardware costs but lets just say they are massive cabinets usually that sound like they are being cooled by deltas or something lol basically they DO have a lot of computational power tucked away inside them to process the tomography calculations.

To be used by the NHS it would have to be extremely reliable as shutdown in a critical scan could potentially be fatal for the patient
I do however think this FASTRA project is cool running on GX2's :)

CT scanners ARE expensive however and yes an MRI scanner will cost you millions of £'s, they are pretty ubah tbh, liquid helium and will suck your keys right off ya from about 3ft away ~£500-600 per scan on average

4GB total graphics VRAM ... but still only 512MB of it usable for games. LOL.
Even if i was Bill Gates i wouldn't buy that for gaming. But it's nice to see GPU's being used for other things.

And how much of a stereotypical geek does that guy look like in the vid? it's crazy, i LOL'd.
He also makes technical mistakes.

For the twentieth time...

They aren't in SLI.

It was never built, concieved or intended for gaming in any way. RTFT.

... care to enlighten us retarded folk as to the nature of those mistakes?

O RLY?! ... thank you Mr Obvious, i never would have guessed.

When not in SLI your'll have 512MB usable VRAM, and if they were in SLI and drivers existed for it, your'd still have 512MB usable VRAM for games. I'm just pointing it out, to all the people that seem to think this would be a great gaming machine. The only thing it would be good for to a gamer is heating a room above anything else.
