5.1/7.1 headsets

Well I have the corsair 7.1 and thought it was decent. Recently tried it with the PS4 and had problems with the mic levels and further research seemed to show that Sony have gimped non-Sony headsets. Anyway long story short I ordered an official Sony ps4 headset and the surround sound on it is head and shoulders above my more expensive Corsair headset. Surprised me really and proves that more money doesn't mean better quality. Advice is try to get a demo before buying if possible.

So 2 speakers.
You already get surround with stereo if the sound is designed around positioning (allot of games are) otherwise you can use stuff like razer surround to give ypu the same thing the 5.1/7.1 headsets give you.
Get a decent set of stereo headphones.

Agree with the ps4 headset it is great although doesn't officially support surround sound on PC. But as above can use software.
