My Razer Barracuda HP1 5.1 headset arrived today but I'm having problems with it, before I send it back to OCuK I wanted to check there's no way of getting it fixed. Basically it uses a USB cable to power them then the usual minijack audio cables for the sound, I'm getting interference through them whenever there's any activity on the PC, e.g. mouse scrolling, game loading, typing etc, if I turn up the volume it'll drown the noise out but I don't really want it blaring constantly. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

Are you sure its the headphones? It could be something else, I found my intergrated sound on my old intel mobo to be causing these problems.

No idea, I've tried my XFI, the onboard and the onboard on my other machine, same problem. I then tried the USB port on one machine and the sound card on another, same problem, as soon as there's some activity on the machine with the USB cable plugged in I get the interference.

Have you got a cordless phone near you pc? Seriously, i had a similar problem and it was that. It was causing interference.

Plug into a usb hub, dont plug directly into PC. sorted.

Still get interference even through a hub, also tried unplugging the DECT phones, still no joy. Razer have told me to send it back to OCUK for a replacement.
