Just a quick one.
I've currently got 2 pc's connected to my stereo, 1 via a aux stereo input and 1 via a 5.1 aux input. I can choose on the stereo which pc to listen to.
I've now got a 5.1 sound card in the other pc so still want to be able to switch between pc's but now in 5.1 sound. I'm assuming the easiest way will be to connect both pc's to a switch box and then take the output from that direct to the 5.1 input on the stereo.
So what I need is a 2 input to 1 output switch box but for 5.1 speakers? I know I can ask where to find one, but mainly is one available at all that anyone has ever seen? I've found a linksys KVM for 2 pc's which has 7.1 sound switching on it, but it's way over the top and I don't need to switch mouse and screens at all.
The other idea is to jjust buy 3 stereo switch boxes but thats just going to get annoying having to change all 3 every time and will be a mess on the desk.
