Hi currently have a 5.1 speaker setup (or is it a 4.1).
Anyway if you have a look at the image when watching TV its setup normally Front left&right Rear left&right and the sub in the middle.
Just got a projector and whilst the inbuilt speakers are adequate was wondering when i connect the projector to the Surround sound box if i could designate it so the satellite speakers would now be in the correct placement when watching the projector screen

eg Front right would now be front left , rear right would be front right.

If the diagram is accurate, you have a 4.1 system, and with is, a whacking great hole on the sound stage for what should be the centre speaker. A 30ft gap between the front left and right.... that's extreme.

Your description of "Surround sound box" is too vague to be 100% certain, but no moderately-priced AV receiver allows the speaker configuration you'd need to make both layouts work with just four satellite speakers. There are AV receivers that support 5.1 plus a second zone in plain stereo. It would mean hooking up an additional pair of speakers and something to convert the digital audio sources to analogue for Z2.

Specific makes and models of the source gear, surround equipment (including speakers), the TV and the projector are needed before anyone can advise further with certainty.
