Hi,

I decided to buy the Boston Acoustics Soundware XS 5.1 setup.

However I am now undecided to what to buy and may opt to go for individual speakers as this is better as someone suggested. Is this correct?

So can you suggest 2 fronts, a center and 2 rears and a sub.

My room is not too big, but it is a dedicated cinema room.

Preferably I don't want discontinued stuff (cause if they are faulty or something) and second hand stuff

Budget about £500-£600. The lower the better though, however I am flexible.

Thanks

Thanks for the suggestions.

I went to a local shop and he suggested the following setup:

Fronts - KEF IQ30
Rears - KEF IQ10
Center - KEF IQ60c
Subwoofer - KEF KUBE 1

How is this compared to the Boston Acoustics Soundware XS and the systems you guys suggested?

Thanks

I quite like the monitor audio ones tbh...

However I need to find someone who sells them and also deliver to Malta.

If you know of anyone, or have a link or something, could you please send it to me in PM?

Thanks

Yes you are right, but even with the shipping costs, it still will be cheaper than buying directly from Malta.

After extensive research I made up my mind once again.

My room is 13 x 13 feet which is approximately 4 x 4 metres.

I do not mind spending the money on these:

Monitor Audio BX6 AV package. This includes the following:

Fronts: Bronze BX6
Rears: Bronze BXFX
Center: Bronze BX Center
Sub: BXW10

All will be driven by the Onkyo TX-SR608.

Is this a good setup for my room and as speakers and amp are they good and will last me some good years?

Thanks
