5.1 through SPDIF issues

just tried out my Asus P8H77-I SPDIF to my surround sound amp and i'm only getting the front 2 speakers.

in sound and audio it won't let me configure the spdif output but will on all others.

Same in the via software.

Any ideas?

sorted it. somehow it had defaulted to 96k sampling rate which the amp doesn't like in anything other than 2.0.

swapped it to 48k and its now coming correctly through all speakers
