Sorry if this have been posted before, but I was just curious what people put in their spare 5.25 bays, you can obv. put in say a blu ray drive, but on my phantom (and many other cases) that still leaves a few drive bays empty.
Not really looking for for ideas, dont think I'l be buying anything anytime soon, but just curious whats about, I've done a google search and seen fan controllers, lcd screens, a toaster, cup holder etc lol, it seems like the 5.25 bays are sorta obsolete ...

There are watercooling reservoirs that will fit into one or two 5.25" bays... can't really think of anything else besides what you already mentioned :D

There's a mod somewhere in the Project log section of the forum where someone made a LED-lit logo that fit into the front of the case and replaced the unused 5.25" bays, that looked quite cool.

Edit: Project log, not case log :P

I've got a dual bay reservoir, dual bay fan controller and a dvdrw. That fills my 5.

I've also got some icy-docks which turn 5.25 into hot-swappable 3.5 hdd caddies (got a 4in3 and a 3in2 one) the. You can remove internal hdd racks and run more water cooling radiators

I'd say the reservoir would be the best options it seems, but I like the hot-swappable idea too. Was just curious when I was looking at my 1 drive bay in use what the rest could be used for haha

Oooo I like the idea of water reservoirs! well done OP for asking this. I was thinking much of the same. Seem empty with just a BLu ray in there and I already have 5 hot swappable Hard drive bays

Or you could add something like this? lol
