5.25" fan controllers.

Anyone know of any decent 5.25" fan controllers? i have 3 fans (4 includeing exhaust) and there quite loud on full speed.
I dont have any 5.25" to 3.5" adaptors

lancool didnt supply it with my case. I bought a cheapy one with a card reader and its FUGLY!

see the gap down the sides of the adaptor (one on top). Its loose and it wobbles around even in the toolless clamp.

Or if you know any 5.25 devices with atleast 3 fan controller and card reader under £30 that would be great !

Those rotating wheels tell that fan control is linear.

Aerocool FP-01 would be another such multifunction device (with also fan speed monitoring) and because of output filtering acts like linear controller with high 18W/1,5A per channel output.

While decent FP-01 card reader can't match transfer rates of good separate card readers and I would guess that most of these devices are even slower.

And just forget tool-less and use screws with these non-full 5.25" devices.

That Nesteq looks very good indeed. Some nice ideas there, especially the ability to turn 4 fans on/off with one button. I can see this being great for large air cooled systems.

I wonder what it is actually like in use? Might have to look for some reviews.

I personally use a Zalman MFC1 Plus and think its great. Has a brushed aluminium front so looks the part as well. Just I'd recommend looking round for it, OCUK charger £30 for the black one for some reason, but £20 for the silver one. Most places sell them both for around £20

Dont come with a card reader though, no idea about good ones with card readers sorry

it nesteq looks good to me but i only need 4 fan controllers max

dont wanna be pay for more.

the zalman MFc1 Plus is probly my fav. Iv seen it on my friends pc and it feels good, doesnt feel like its going to fall appart. But same problem, to many knobs

Im looking for something that price but with 3-4 knobs and a card reader. OR even a few usb ports.

Aerocool FP-01 i was looking at for a very long time. But im scared incase i buy, and it comes through faulty. I like buying things of overclockers because iv never had any problems. Dont like buying of sites i dont know about.

for the people who dontknow what the aerocool FP-01 is...look here!

I'd stay well away from the aerocool one. It looks nice but in the flesh it a bag of pants. Cheap plastic and very flimsy. I brought one and regreted it straight away.

how bad was it? is it like a my 5.25 to 3.5" adaptor where it just flaps around and feels like its gunna fall out every time you use it
