5.25" Hard Drive Caddy

Hi all,

Not sure if this is the right place to ask but I was wondering if anyone could help -

I have a SSD Drive that unfortunately I have no where to put in my case lol

I have a (fairly) old NXZT case that coems with the HHD Caddy with the sliding parts for installing hard drives without any screws - only this means the SSD drive and the 2.5" to 3.5" enclosure won't fit!

I was hoping to get a 5.25" hard Drive internal enclosure to put in one of the spare DVD bays but I can't seem to find any - would anyone know a good one to get (preferably one that can cool as well - I had one years ago only I gave it away lol)

You could try the 'bungee' mod, I think its in a sticky in this sub-forum.

Had a similar problem with my old NZXT Gamma case, ended up just holding it in place with 2 screws to the nearest side, SSD's weigh next to nothing so it wasn't putting any extra strain on it IMO.

Scythe have a kit to mount a 3.5 in a 5.25 bay

Yeah mine is sort of floating above the other 2 hard drives in the 2.5" -> 3.5" adapter I got with the drive, it's a bit awkward trying to get a caddy for it cause of the way the drive bays are all set up, some won't sit in because of the sliders and I wouldn't know if it'll fit until I've bought and opened it lol -
