5.25" to 3.5" conversion kit for lian-li

hi, am looking to buy the lian pc v600

but i noticed it doesn't have the 5.25" conversion kit that is found on the v1000, anyone know if lian li makes them at all?

All the V series cases should come with 1 matching converter.

v600 does not come with the drive stealth cover as far as I know, v1000+ does.

hmmm...just ordered the case and an extra bezel, i hope it does come with the convertor, can't seem to find them anywhere

Hopefully your bezel will fit well, WJA96 had a slight mod to get it to fit, hopefully it was a one off but it is very unusual for Lian Li to do something like that.

Would be interesting to hear how you get along.

Yes - there are 2 holes in the edge of the drive cover - one big, one small. The big one fits the supplied mounting clip, but it does not line up with the case hole. The smaller hole lines up, but is 3mm too small to fit the clip. If you drill out the hole, it fits perfectly.

The other issue is that there is very little space between the front of the case and the drive bay plates where the stealth cover mounts onto. I would definitely advise fitting the stealth plate before you mount anything else as I had to remove all the front blanking plates and then slide the stealth cover up, horizontally, from the bottom. It didn't take more than about 5 or 10 minutes, but at the time I was fuming as I had to remove a HDD, a floppy drive and two optical drives to get it in.

@Caged - how is your case cooling now? I'm building up the TJ-08 at the moment for my wife. She'll love it, it's soooo cutesy.

No problems here, I might have a different version of bezel, here's a photo:

As you can see, the front side of the bezel hole has a threaded part on it as used throughout the PC-V600. This means you can use the supplied screw to secure it to the case frame.

Mine didn't have screws, they had little plastic clips.

Mine had both, must be a different version. The box mine came in says "Model C-01" and the barcode on the back is "4 718466 001108"
