I would be sorely tempted if it had a m.2 pcie disk rather than the SATA ssd. think they've missed a trick there... :(

or if i could buy the bare bones case i would definitely get one

The motherboard does have an m.2 slot but it's on the back and apparently fiddly to get to. Weird when Corsair do their own m.2 drives!
 
I'd be very surprised if it did, the reviews I've read say it's upgradable, so that would imply you can swap bits out.

I think it would mean removing the motherboard, and that's not looking like a pleasant task. I watched Linus's review - I will wait for a proper tear down review...

Just don't take it apart... Lol

there is a lot of mixed messages around that. their product page says:


PREPARED FOR THE FUTURE
CORSAIR ONE utilizes components that are standard sizes, enabling the user to upgrade at will.

But the reviews are saying don't and you'll void the warranty. I wonder if OC can get us an answer on that? i'd really like to add an M.2 pcie drive.
