Here you go guys. This could easily be used 24/7 for whatever the user desires!!!!. HT is off as I am testing for a specific reason that does not benefit from having HT on. I did briefly test with HT on and its equally as stable.

5.5 goodness!! DDR is nearly 2600 mhz too with BLK of 107.9! the IMC is strong in this one!!:D

Prime!!!!

Hi 8 Pack, I have this board along with an i5 3570k i was wondering what the best CPU cooler would be for getting the best overclock for my chip?
I am still on the stock cooler, but unsure which route to go down, water or air.
I was reccommended these for air cooling becuase of the high profile Corsair Dominator Platinum Ram
YOUR BASKET
1 x Prolimatech Red Megahalems CPU Cooler (Socket 775 / 1155 / 1156 / 1366 / 2011 / AM2 / AM2+ / AM3 / FM1 / FM2) £52.99
1 x Prolimatech Black Megahalems CPU Cooler (Socket 775 / 1155 / 1156 / 1366 / 2011 / AM2 / AM2+ / AM3 / FM1 / FM2) £49.98
Total : £113.47 (includes shipping : £8.75).

But would a custom loop something like the ones below be better to get me started then gradually build up to a better one bit by bit?
YOUR BASKET
1 x EK-KIT H3O 120 LTX Performance Watercooling Kit £128.99
1 x OcUK Tech Lab - V6 Watercooling Kit 120 £75.01
1 x Mayhems Ultra Pure H20 Watercooling Fluid 1L £4.99
1 x XSPC RayStorm CPU WaterBlock (Intel) £49.98
Total : £270.37 (includes shipping : £9.50).

The top air coolers are the Phanteks TC14PE, The Noctua NH D14, K2 and i would say the megahelams is up there aswell.. Though these are outshined by the H100.

As for custom loops look at 8-packs H100 Vs £130 custom loop review:

Well.. It looks a lot nicer and i can change the liquid to red to match my mobo so it has that advantage over the closed loop. Then I can upgrade it and add parts onto it in the long term which will decrease temps further? Where as the closed loop isn't going to improve much from when you buy it from what i've read.

Fair enough. I prefer sealed loops because of the low effort and low maintenance.

(and because i'm poor)

I hear your points :)
