Hi all,

So my new build went largely without a problem. I bought a Corsair 4000D Airflow and it only came with 2 fans. I bought another 3 120mm fans. However, I didn't realise my mobo (B550-F ROG Strix) only has 3 places to connect individual fans. I'd like to use all 5 fans, 3 in, 2 exhaust. What is the best way to do this? Do I need to buy something like a fan controller?

Thanks,
Col

From a quick Google I can see 6 fan headers on that board.

2 above RAM slots
2 below the vrm heatsink (below and to the left of CPU socket)
2 Along the bottom of the board.

But if I'm wrong and I've looked up the wrong board. The easiest option is to just buy a couple of fan cable splitters and run 2 or 3 fans off a single header.

Something like this, there are more on the website or 3 or 4 pin fans
