5 Good Reasons Why MGS4 will be on the xbox 360

Not necessarily true. If GTA4 had stayed only on PS3 then it would have been a lot better and if MGS4 was developed on 360 as well then it would have been a lot worse. I prefer developers to stick to one format be it 360 or PS3 as games developed for multiple consoles are inevitably never as good

:p:p:p
gta4 on ps3 had its own development team
still could not match the 360
fail

A LOT better? How so?

The extra media space might have given it a few benefits, but apart from that?

Budget would have been bigger plus they would have had more space and wouldnt have to worry about the Xbox version.Doesnt matter if they had their own dev team, they would have had more people working on one version. All the GTAs were fine up til 4 and 4 is the only one thats multiplatform - go figure

Well, considering that it was the PS3 version that held back the 360 version, I'm not sure your assumptions are based in solid foundation. You'd be right about the one platform comment though, games are always better when built for one sole platform that takes advantage of its strengths and merits alone.

But when built consequetively - it was the PS3 version holding it back. Rockstar was worrying about the PS3 version, not the 360 version as you said.

Don't let facts get in the way of your agenda though.

It's a known fact that when a development team aren't burdened with 360 development they can really push blu-ray, cell and the awesome majesty that is the PS3 to the limit. Just look at Haze and Lair if you need proof! Oh wait...

Somebody could just say 'Metal Gear' as a retort to that though. Or Killzone 2 (which I know isn't out yet but the damn thing looks amazing).

and gta4 was fine
you forget the 360 game was held back so they could all work on the ps3 version to get it up to scratch
you fail

In hindsight they should've developed it on PS3 and ported to 360, that way it would have probably been more efficiently coded and ran better on both.

Neither version was particularly anything to be proud of in this day and age.

Agreed, both are pretty bad. Both suffer framerate drops, 360 has worse pop-in, PS3 isnt as sharp. PS3 suffers the worse average FPS, 360 looks a lot blander & no fullscreen TV LOL, etc, etc...

If a developer had concentrated on 1 platform it would have been better, which is the point hes trying to make I think.

A good and valid point peppered with PS3 bias
