Hi guys!

I have a group of 5 friends (including myself) who play LoL pretty much every night. Unfortunately it's getting to the point where almost all of us are not enjoying the game at all so we're looking for a potential replacement.

Does anyone have any suggestions for good 5 player coop games? We've been looking for a while and there don't seem to be many at all. There are a good few 4 player coop games but that wouldn't really be suitable for 5 of us.

We're not really interested in MMO's at all so they're out, and other MOBA's are out aswell as that wouldn't really solve the problem we're having and if we wanted to play a MOBA it would just be LoL.

I would really appreciate any suggestions.

Thanks!

Me and my friends burnt out on Dota a while ago and found Overwatch to be a nice replacement. Not nearly the same depth as a MOBA, but still plenty of fun to be had, and enough complexity that it becomes more rewarding as you play with friends.

You didn't mention shooters, but something like CS:GO or another fps like bf would accommodate your numbers and desire to work together.

Paladins would be a good play to start and free so lost nothing if you dont like it. If you like that go for overwatch. Battlefield support squads of 5.

If your football fans start a online game on football manager, theres also fifa pro clubs.

Most other games i can think of are 4 player.

Starwars battle front maybe?

I think if i can remember properly you can have a squad of you plus 4 other friends in a squad, please correct me if i am wrong.

Evolve and Friday the 13th are both 5 man games.

Else I'd go higher player cap, battlefield, CoD, Titanfall etc.

Something like Rust is pretty fun with a group of mates, Build bases raid bases lots of PVP, Although it is still in heavy development.

Yeah 5 is quite a funny number as most games tend to stick to the 4man group.

Some of the open world survival genre games can be massive amounts of fun :)

try Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance ..... download Forged Alliance Forever to supplement it as there is still a huge modding and map community still making updates to the game.

+1 forged alliance (FAF) is a great game

I second the call to play 'Rust' really. Such a great game to play with mates and completely different to the moba.

+1 Rust is also a great game (my current game of choice), bit of a toxic community, but with 4-5 friends you "should" be ok

Would you consider RTS? Starcraft 2 is free now and might be a good start to see if you like it - they also tend to be quicker games that some of the others... you could also play 5v5 as well as PvP.

There are plenty of FPS games that you could join as a squad and play
World of Tanks/Warships you could create a 5 man guild - but you would be playing with some randoms likewise any of the large multiplayer games like Battlefiled COD etc.

I can't think of any fantasy top down games that support 5 player coop off the top of my head that are not MMO.
