£50 bluetooth spotify player

Would like something to put in the kitchen which I can stream music too via Bluetooth..... Can anybody suggest something?

There's a whole host of cheap Bluetooth speakers on the jungle site, but Sony SRS XB2 looks one of the better ones for around the £50 mark. There's also a JBL flip 3 for the same money; £55.

I'd probably go for one of those, rather than one of the many unknown branded ones.

I was thinking of getting the Amazon Echo dot and some AUX speakers ... Thoughts?

I haven't read too much about the Echo devices, but after just reading up on it a bit, you could do that.

Depends what you have left to spend on speakers. If you're looking at £10 speakers after spending £40 on the Echo Dot, I'd just go for the Sony or JBL. £10 is no money for speakers. Fine for basic stuff, but not something I'd want to listen to music on really.

I can vouch for the JBL range, bought my sis a Flip 2 or 3 (cant remember) last year for Christmas. Bluetooth aspect works really well, and the sound quality is pretty reasonable given its size. I'd try and plump for a Charge 2 or 3 instead, slightly larger speakers and more wattage so should improve the bass and lower-mid response - something the Flip 2 could be brought up on.
