£50 camera for gf

After a digital camera that's £50 max for my gf

Any makes to avoid?

I always go for high end sony's myself, not sure what to look for tbh..

I just bought a whole load of Canon a460 cameras for work. Pretty decent for the price. I managed to pick them up for about £60. Its got a decent screen and an optical viewfinder. Only downsides are its fairly chunky and it takes AA batteries (That was a good point for me, but could be a downside for others unless they use Lithium Ion AA batteries.) Oh and the supplied memory card was a silly 16mb.
