Not sure to be honest, in my EA download manager you can click info and it gives you the licence key.
What I like about EA is I don't need the application open to play a game, just open the game itself.
Thats what I dislike about Steam, yet another needless thing open and takes a little time to open. I prefer as many games out of steam as possible.
I did prefer the EADM aswell as it was ONLY a download manager, nothing more or less, and you could download it to a backup folder easily as an installable package. Its got the store added now but no other useless fluff, but I suspect it will get "community" rubbish and constant news pop ups eventually the same way steam has them.
Anyway, I would suspect you can add the codes to steam if you really want to.
Also not quite clear on Vietnam, it does look like just 5(i think) multiplayer maps and no single player, I think price wise it sits(at £10) right between a map pack at £5 and a proper expansion with single player at £15.
IIRC EA store are pretty awful with contact but probably someone on Steam has asked the same question RE keys and adding to steam so its worth a look.
