I love the last one too - only thing that puzzles me though, is that the animal is in focus. Surely, if it was a shot of the folks sitting, they would be in focus, and the animal would be blurred? Just curious.

for a dslr.. depends on the focusing mode, shooting mode etc. If they use a remote trigger with auto focus on all points for example it would treat the animal as the subject and focus on that, since it can take the shot as soon as it focuses.
