£500 2nd hand Floorstanders

Morning all,

I fancy getting some floor standers for my living room, they'll be connected to an Marantz NR1506 receiver.
The main use of the receiver is TV, films and PS4 watching.

I will occasionally listen to music via the amp, but it's not that often.

I am currently using a pair of Wharfdale 9.1s which are great but I want to try out a pair of floor standers, mainly for the aesthetic

So any recommendations for speakers?

Monitor audio is what i recommend as IMO they offer very good value for money. however Q acoustics do to.

when your saying second hand here you do realise it's collection only and therefore what we say has zero impact. effectively you will only be able to choose from whatever is available locally at the time.

I live in glasgow. stuff comes up for sale within a 45 minute drive once a year. so i'm limited to whatever comes up.

Once I've figured out what ones I want, I'll then keep a look out for them
