£500-£600 build

Hi all, not done this for a while but looking to do a mostly new build, I have recently sold my fm2 itx build and am planning on getting a new system on finance.

I made my own spec last night which is as follows.

Gtx 670
Fx 3820
8gb 1600 ram
120gb samsung ssd
Generic am3+ board
K65 keyboard
Death adder mouse

This came to £580 with free delivery, is there a better option on this budget?


I have a 650d case a phanteks cooler and a corsair hx850 psu too.

a generic am3 board wouldnt allow the 8320 to overclock well iirc

Not too fussed on the overclocking front, I usually go for k series intel chips but in the last year I've not bothered overclocking anything.

I'd get a Gigabyte board at least.
