Although the two links use quicker CPUs, you'll not see much difference with an i3. But if you want guaranteed top-notch performance with an i5 or similar, you'll need to up your budget

I'm trying to weight up whether to go budget LAN build for £600, or better spec "desktop" for £700~.
I'm liking this LAN rig, and I can easily upgrade the CPU a year or so down the line as well as the GPU and RAM as it looks pretty future proof being socket 1151 and DDR4, correct?
In terms of GPU, bang-for-buck-wise, how does the R9 380(x) fair against the 970?
Also, how are AMD CPU builds these days?
Lastly, is there any way to get a WiFi mobo into this budget?
EDIT - Just noticed, you have a DDR3 mobo with DDR4 RAM, eek!
