Hi, as of recently I've been quite interested in steam's big picture and thought a mini case / media pc would be ideal.

I've had a quick look about and found some fairly suitable parts but needing help whether they will all come together!

Hopefully looking to be able to get games like battlefield 3 / far cry 3 running at at fairly high standard, but I'm not sure if I can expect them to be maxed out!

I'd like to use a case like this or very similar: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-073-BX

then would these parts be suitable / any alternatives ? Thanks!

power supply - ?

ah my bad, the gpu was linked to a reduced 2gb hd6970, but chances of that fitting in may be slim!
and I won't be needing much space as I will mostly be running steam's big picture which saves on space!

and for a possible cut back, are there any AMD processors worth looking at. On the whole they seem cheaper but Im not sure how much this could affect performance ?

yea, currently just seeing what options are on, and just looking for the pc as monitor, keyboard mouse are covered!

But as for spec, i'd be most happy with a pc like that and for the price, its not terrible if it's slightly over, but trying to keep it within boundaries!
