Can anyone spec me an All-round system for 500-600 quid?
I'm making a pc for a mate but i've never been one to budget so i need a little help.
It need to be the best it can be for gaming at that price.
Most other uses will be just general web surfing, word processing.
Any info would be a great help,
Jim

Does he need a monitor, software etc? If he does then that will seriously impact on the budget, you probably can't get dual core into the price comfortably anyway but if a monitor is needed then other components will be compromised.

Assuming no monitor is needed.. This is a little over budget but worth it imho :).

I think this is the absolute best you'll get for the money.
