Hi, I have a friend who is needing a new rig - mainly used for gaming.

Budget: £500 inc VAT

Some of his specific needs is that he wants a AMD Setup, a nVidia Graphics Card and preferably 1GB memory. Hopefully for £500 he could get something decent.

He doesn't need a monitor or a mouse, but he needs everything else, e.g. PSU, Keyboard, CPU... etc - the components which makes up a PC :D also a PC Case.

Anyone could help spec me up a system for his budget would be greatly appreciated. Cheers!

that's a nice spec, what is the PSU like? say like he wanted to upgraded to a jucier graphics card, would that PSU suffice? I gather the PSU can be removed from this case? unlike my ancient case which had it screwed it so tight - was just bad.... i dont think he will upgrade too quickly anyway...
