£500 Budget build

If you don't mind a 'B' grade card you can save some money. Some slightly cheaper ram, although not by much :D
Looks like the Xigmatek case is no longer stocked

YOUR BASKET
1 x **B Grade** MSI HD 7950 Twin Frozr III OC 3072MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card £149.99
1 x TeamGroup Vulcan ORANGE 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (TLAD38G1600HC9DC01) £59.99
Total : £221.38 (includes shipping : £9.50).

That looks good, Would you say B grade is reliable? It comes with 3 year warranty so I am interested in getting these two products. What is your opinion? B grade is 2nd hand correct? Is it likely to last a durable amount of time?

Nice build, the new GPU capable of running BF4 at decent settings?

Let me just steal a snippet from Hono here:

The 2GB 270X is a decent midrange GPU with plenty of bang for the buck at ~£150. It's basically a 7870LE which are well known to trade blows with stock 7950s

So yes, it will be a nice overall card for all games you want to play!

Only thing I would change is the case, I don't like the super cheap ones, but that should be Ok, if you have a cheap fan around that would be ideal as it has no front intakes, just a fan at the rear.

Will the fan be needed?
If not I could upgrade the case possibly but too what?

Feedback?

Thanks!

Going to order the spec tommorow night. Is the fan needed? And any better GPU's at a similiar price or shall I stick with the 270x :)! Thanks
Due to this being my first time ever building a PC, what if my pc/parts broke? Are fixes genreally quite easy to fix as I don't want to be spending all this money for it to break 6 months down the line and me not know how to resolve the issue!
