£500 budget for i7 920 Build.

Hi guys my son just came in to some money £500 and he wants to change to i7 setup from his old amd 6000+ he only needs the following parts.

Cpu 17 920
Motherboard
memory tri channel of coure
and air cooler.

sorry to kinda hijack this thread, but how easily is it to clock the cpu to 4ghz on this mobo is it a good make etc?

also does the megahems cooler out perform the H50 cooler?

from what ive read, its not too hard, seen a lot of threads with the same question. Gigabyte seem to be what most people are using with i7 builds but the higher models.
as for the coolers, im not too sure
