Looking at going with something like the below and wanted to know peoples thoughts, need everything but gpu (gtx 460 - 6 months old)

Hi bud thanks for the reply, budgets in the title (£500), dont need an OS, forgot about cooler lol, also whats the difference in the cpu i have specced to the one you did?

I've added a modular PSU, good cooling heatsink. dropped dvd rw to lower priced one and changed to some slightly cheaper but just as good RAM.

P.S lend £7 of a friend / family :D

Ah right, that makes sence!

Looking at i would prefere a modular psu so kudos on that, all in all a good spec i think, cheers ;)
 
Have fun building. Also the fan on that heatsink is really good. dont catch your fingers on it. safe to say i learnt the hard way :D (i've caught my finger on lots of fans before but none that have ever sliced my finger open XD)
 
Yeah looking forward to building tbh, my first one, always bought towers as i was a bit put off my others failures when they built there own but after speaking to a couple of colleagues at work and the tips on here i feel like its time to break my cherry :)
