£500 budget uni/fims and quake!

Hi guys,

I'm after a cheap pre-built desktop pc for uni work - word/powerpoint with lots of pdf/webpages open. I will also be using it to watch movies and play the odd game of quake / doom using darkplaces. I suppose I would like to give some FPS a try too, specifically Aliens Isolation, but If I'm being honest I don't really have much time to play games what with two kids!

I've been looking at the casual gaming rigs for around £450 and also the liberator x6.

It has been a long time since I played any games so I'm out of the loop so I'm really in need of some advice here.

I've got monitor/kb/mouse.

Excuse my greenishness:

So is that a prebuilt one? Do I add items individually to shopping basket?

I don;t want to assume, but will I be able to enjoy the new alien game and doom/quake lol with that build?
