Hi I a looking for something that will be future proof for at least the next couple of years. I am a light gamer and play diablo 3 and wow generally.

I have tried to look at previous posts with a similar budget but sometimes the gear is out of stock. I don`t know enough to spec it myself so was wondering if someone could help me. I could push my budget a little for if it will make a significant difference and would be happy with B grades if necessary

I have windows and a monitor

Thank you very much my only worry is I have never build a pc before, is it really that simple?

I understand you can pay £60 to get it done for you but I would rather save the money

It's really simple, I'm sure people on here will help if you get stuck (the physical putting together is very easy, its impossible to put something in the wrong slot (different size) and its even impossible to put something in upside down...

I always find the CPU cooler is the most tricky but even that isn't too difficult and youtube tends to have guides to help...

Save the £60 and do it yourself is my advice...

Thanks for that, I watched a few tutorials and it really does seem as simple as plugging ion components

Buy something you can understand from Youtube, Corsairs H100 H80 H60 etc are so simple, Even a child can do it no joke!

Hardest part IMO for a beginner is fitting the CPU. Be very gentle, the pins in the socket are incredibly easy to damage.

Maybe phone OCUK and get them to fit the CPU? I reckon pretty much everything else is fool proof.

Yeah just remember not to over tighten the cpu cooler, as this can damage the chip and board.

Where are you based?

Thanks for advice guys, I'm in Lancashire near Blackburn. (no I don't support them). Yes from what I've seen the cpu is the only potential challenge

Thanks again guys.

One other question, although I have fibre optic, my wireless signal upstairs ( where my pc is relatively weak) Is there anyway I can improve this as I am unable to take the modem upstairs?

You can buy Wifi extenders that plug into your mains sockets which carry your wifi signal further :)

Haven't used one myself so can't comment on their quality.

Hi

Iam about to order this amd take the plunge and try my first build. I know it is not ideal but ill be using wifi. Does the motherboard support wifi capability and if so I assume a pci wifi card will be better than a usb. If thats the case which card would I get?
