Budget £500
Going to be mainly used for guild wars 2 and other light gaming.
Cpu either AMD fx 4300 or i3 2220
Would quite like to use corsair carbide 200r
already have a after market cpu cooler (freezer 7 pro)
keyboard mouse and screen not need but i do need a operating system

thanks for any help :)

guild wars 2 is incredibly CPU intensive, so whilst fire fly's spec is really good for the money, and would be better in most games, if this is your main game, my preference would be the following system, £480 if you add windows 7 home premium:
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=FS-322-OE&groupid=43&catid=2385&subcat=1270
and then add in a mid range GPU in a month or 2 when you have the cash available (the HD4000 should be fine on low settings until then)

Is there any Amd alternatives instead of the 2700k thinking from a cost aspect and then use something like 7770 as I'm keen to try out amd's new drivers on there Gpu's!

The only thing I'm not sure about is the b75 chipset will it affect performance in any way?

The motherboard won't cause a drop in performance. But you can't overclock on it ( but the CPU is not overclockable either). If you wanted a better board then you will have to save some money elsewhere.

YOUR BASKET

Still can't overclock the CPU but you can drop an i5 3570K in as an upgrade later down the line.
